DIS AT JOB FAIRS

DIS visited the Job Fairs at the Engineering College of Aarhus and at VIA University College in Horsens. Here the engineering students had a chance to visit DIS’ stand and hear more about the career opportunities at DIS.

Congratulations to engineering student, Johan Skov Bergholt, who won the competition at the Engineering College of Aarhus. He can look forward to a Co-driver ride in the AC cobra at the Sportscar Event 2012.

5 x GAZELLE

DIS is still among the fast-runners in the Danish industry, and has for the fifth time, been nominated the prestigious Gazelle award by the financial newspaper, Børsen.

DIS is among the 827 companies in Denmark that have been nominated the Gazelle award in 2011. DIS is thereby part of a very exclusive group of companies that have shown outstanding financial performance and achieved a profitable growth of more than 100% over the last four years. DIS has met the criteria for the Gazelle nomination four times in a row, despite of the financial crisis, which makes the performance even more impressive.

The gazelle prize has been awarded for 17 years and 13.215 Danish companies have been nominated. Only 1 % of these companies manage to be nominated five times – including DIS.

DIS has been nominated in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, and won the prize in 2003.

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

DIS is a finalist in the Entrepreneur Of The Year competition in Region Mid Jutland in 2011. DIS has previously been nominated for the Entrepreneur Of The Year award in 2008 and 2009, however, this is the first time DIS is among the finalists in Region Mid Jutland.

NOMINATED FOR 'ÅRESTS EJERLEDER'

Søren Bunk and Michael Gadeberg have been nominated for Årets Ejerleder (the Owner-Manager of the Year) in Region Mid Jutland 2011.

LIVE AAA-RATING

A live credit-rating logo now reveals DIS’ credit worthiness on a daily basis.

Over the past years, DIS has managed to uphold the AAA-rating, which is the highest credit worthiness. Soliditet describes a AAA-company as “a company with an exceedingly strong ability to meet current payment obligations”.

The rating is based on four assessment components: Profile and condition, Group information, Economy and Payments. If any of these components change, a new rating is calculated immediately and will appear on DIS’ websites, which makes it easy for DIS’ customers and suppliers to assess our creditworthiness.

DIS opens a new department in Germany. DIS Germany GmbH is placed in the southern part of Germany near the city, Nuremberg. Matthias Bäuerle is the CEO/ Geschäftsführer of DIS Germany GmbH. For more information, contact Matthias here.

RECEPTION AT DIS ESBJERG

Customers and other business associates attended the reception at DIS’ department in Esbjerg. Both existing and new customers came by to meet DIS in Esbjerg and wish Head of Department, Kore Berg, and the Esbjerg-team good luck with the new department.

SPORTSCAR EVENT 2011

DIS invited employees and customers to the annual Sportscar Event at FDM Jyllandsringen and FDM Sjællandsringen for the benefit of the charity organization, Børnecancerfonden – an organization helping children suffering from cancer.
